Blessings From Revelation

Did you know that you receive a blessing every time you read the prophecy from the Book of Revelation? It says it must be read out loud too! And it says you must obey it too!

Journey Through the Book of Revelation

There are many scholars who have written about the Book of Revelation with many different thoughts on it. I have read many books and commentaries relating to this Book and I always read them without forming opinions. I like to savor God’s Word and seek from His Holy Spirit wisdom as I read through it. That said, one must be careful to not take their own understanding and state that God’s Holy Spirit told them what is true and what is not. First, one must desire a closer walk with God. Second, one must be willing to grow in the Lord and make him the Master of their life. Beware that you would take your own thoughts and try to pass them off as the Lord’s.

I will be taking a walkthrough of the Book of Revelation. I am not considered a scholar; but I have long sought after the Heart of God; grown in many ways (through the hard knocks too) and I am still seeking and still listening and still learning how to be totally obedient as his servant.

If you desire, I would love for you to journey with me; knowing that there will be blessings along the way. Know that not all things have been revealed to us from this Book yet. As years have past, God has revealed a little bit more along way. Know that I will allow God’s Spirit to continue to teach me and bless me with his Prophecies found within these pages of His Word.

Revelation 1:1-3:
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.
(ESV)

The reader is blessed as well as the hearers provided they obey and keep what is written in it. The time is near. Prepare your heart to receive His Word. Make it all about God.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your patience with me. I thank you for the many things that you have taught me and revealed to me. May my heart always yearn for you – for your thoughts and your ways. Guide me once again as I journey through the Book of Revelation and open up more secrets to me. May those who decide to journey with me seek to be opened to your Word and your Truths. May they read the words aloud and receive the blessings that come with it. I love you, Lord. I ask this in Christ Jesus’ name, Amen.
