God reveals our destinies in dreams and visions. Sometimes it takes years before we can find all the pieces to our life’s puzzle. This is why it is important to record your dreams.
Last week, I had a dream that brought many pieces of my life together. God is good. God is faithful. God is just. I will praise Him with my life.
For many years, I have had a dream – the same and yet not the same. The key factor in this dream was a car. In this dream, I am about 20 years old. I had bought a new car. But I had to go on a journey and I left this car at my parent’s home for them to take care of it while I was gone.
But when I returned, the car wasn’t there. I was looking for that car – asking my parents what happened to it. I even asked my brothers if they had seen it. No one would tell me the truth.
Without the car, I could not move forward in my destiny. I was frustrated and giving up hope at times. Why would they not tell me what happened to my car?
At this point, you may be asking, “So what is so important about this car? What does it have to do with your destiny?”
In dreams, an object has hidden meanings.
In a dream with a car – it usually has to do with movement. But one must be careful, where the interpretation comes from.
God is very specific about not seeking guidance from mediums or spiritists, this is why we have the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit – to keep us far away from evil:
Leviticus 19:31 – “Do not turn to spirit-mediums or sorcerers; don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them; I am Adonai your God. (CJB)
There are many examples in the Bible of dreams and visions and interpretations. God will give interpretations to our dreams – but we must be ready and have our hearts prepared to hear His voice.
In this dream, I have discovered that a “Car” represents the move of God in my life. I had found God when I accepted Jesus as my Savior many years ago. I was close to the Father. I had experienced His love – but somewhere along the way – I allowed others to speak lies into my life that I believed. I allowed the enemy to take control of my life and tell me that I was not important to the Father. That He was not really a loving Father.
I was trying to find Him again, but I had “tattoos” on my body that said otherwise. You can read an article I wrote several years ago about “tattoos” here: A Tattooed Heart
This is what stolen identities are about. The enemy comes in fast and hard and tries to make us believe his lies. Then we lose sight of who we really are in Christ.
I will end here today and will share the rest of this dream later.
Remember, God wants to be found. He is never far away from you. He loves you. He cares about the small details in your life. He wants you to find your destiny – the one that He had planned for you so long ago.
