Weebles Wobble

Weebles.  Wobble.  But they don’t fall down!

If you were well and alive during the 70’s and 80’s you were well aware of “Weebles.”

Weebles Wobble – But they don’t fall down!

You might ask me today, “What does Weebles have to do with Dreams and Visions?

Glad you asked!

Other the years, I have woke up speaking a phrase in the morning.  It has always had some significance of value to my life or someone else’s.

So, on Sunday morning as I was waking up – I said, “Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!”

And as usual, I proclaimed, “What?  What did I just say?”

So I started looking for what the Lord was showing me.

This morning, I found the verse that goes with those words:

Psalm 37:23-24 – If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.  (NIV)

Did you catch it?  IF – such a big “little” word but it has such powerful meaning.  To get the jest of what is being said, one should read Psalm 37 to catch all that was being said around those words.

IF you walk in the ways of the Lord – He delights in in your ways.  He will make your steps firm.  And though you may stumble, you will not fall down!  Why?  He holds you up with his hand.

Oh yes, there will be times that you may fall down – when you stop following the ways of the Lord – when you have let go of his hand.  But Adonai will lift you back up if you are willing.

I have a feeling that I will be walking around for a few days repeating those words:

“Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!”
