Luke 11:1 – Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” (ESV)

The Lord’s Prayer – many have prayed the simple words given by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  But, the key is – do we heed these words?  Do we follow Jesus in prayer?

Early this morning, alone with my Lord and Savior – I read the above words as I have many times before – yet – Jesus kept saying, “Go Deeper Still!”

Go. Deeper. Still.

What did He mean?  So I started reading further into Chapter 11 – and then – a light bulb moment!

The prayer doesn’t end in verse four – the prayer is all of Chapter 11!

Go. Deeper. Still.

Then.  As God always does – He gives me more!  Why?  Because I seek for more.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.  A Chapter 11 Bankruptcy is for regrouping – reorganizing.  All of Chapter 11 if taken as a whole – takes one deeper still – giving us ways to regroup – reorganize our lives so that we may keep His name holy and that we may willingly be a part of His Kingdom – here on earth.

Rejoice today.  Go Deeper Still.
