Players. Football. Disrespect. Pride. 

In a Country where God is not respected, it doesn’t take long before its people start acting in foolish ways.

For two days now, this saying keeps coming to mind: Stupid is as Stupid does.

It means that an intelligent person who does stupid things is still stupid. You are what you do.  

I learned a lot of wise old sayings from Forrest Gump!  I have learned a lot more wise sayings from the Word of Truth.

Football is a game.  A pass-the-time.  Relaxation. It was not meant for grown men to act like toddlers.  Throw a fit.  You are paid to play football.  Not disrespect our Country.

My prayer is that more and more people will stand up and say “Enough is enough!”

In the words of Forrest:

 “My Mama always said you’ve got to put the past behind you before you can move on.”

We have lost our way!  It is time to get back on the right path of respecting our God – our Country – and one another.  It is time to stop being stupid just because you have the money and the name to get in front of a camera and be stupid.

We have people in our Country who have lost much.  It is time to shut down the camera on fools and get those cameras on real needs –

Make this a Common Sense Day!  A day to remember what is the right thing to do!.  Don’t allow self-centeredness to destroy your life and the life of others around you.  Wake up!  Be Brave! Be Strong!  And stand.  STAND TALL.  IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
