My heart has been heavy these past couple of weeks. I have spent time alone with the Lord seeking answers from Him.
The enemy is at work at a new angle – an angle to bring more division and disunity in the hearts of men – especially the hearts of believers.
I am seeing people taking a platform that was given to them by God and using it for purposes other than what God had intended.
How do I write with words – “words from the heart of God” and not offend others?
It is not possible as long as our hearts are not in the right places. How do I know this? Because God is working on my heart – drawing me closer to His – making me more and more like Him each day. Transforming me. It is my job to allow Him to make those changes within me – making me more and more like Him each day. Not by going backwards – but always moving forward.
Why the word Kaleidoscope?
It was a word that came to mind as I woke up this morning. As a child, I was fascinated with them – how could it change like that – it was amazing. So many colors – mingling together – always changing in pattern and colors.
What am I trying to say?
We cannot love one another unless we are loving with the love of God.
It is not about colors. It is about attitudes. It is about deception. It is about rebellious hearts. This is what the enemy knows about us – he is good about getting into hearts and minds and twisting the Truth of God in ways that causes division – causes disunity.
Pull away from these half-truths and get back into the Word of God.
Start looking through God’s Kaleidoscope of colors – of love – of wisdom – of unity – of transformation.
The answers to our problems are found in the Word of God. Not by pulling out a few choice scriptures – but taking the whole Word of God as counsel for our hearts today.
There is a lot of clanging going on today.
1 Corinthians 13:1 – If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. (NASU)
I don’t have all the answers – but I know the One who has the answers to all things.
Be careful that you are not allowing the enemy to deceive you by his placing of his false filters inside of that Kaleidoscope of God’s Love and Colors.
Today, I leave you a song about colors – about love. It’s a children’s song by SinginSeeds.
Rest in God’s Love today. And spend some time with Him asking Him to take a look at your heart – and then be willing to allow Him to change the colors and patterns of your life – making you more and more like Him each day.
