Remember

Hate.

Hate. Is. An. Ugly. Word.

Jesus speaks of it in his last words to his disciples.  Words that he spoke to you and me too.

REMEMBER

Remember.  When the world hates you – they hated Jesus first.

We can expect hate from the world.  BUT we should not expect hate among the children of God.  Just go to your Facebook page or Twitter or any other social media.  AND you will see the hate that consumes not only the world – but the church too.

Jesus said, “Remember.”  Have we forgotten his words?

Remember, there are souls out there needing a Savior.

Lets take a look at the Scripture today:

Just remember, when the unbelieving world hates you, they first hated me. If you were to give your allegiance to the world, they would love and welcome you as one of their own. But because you won’t align yourself with the values of this world, they will hate you. I have chosen you and taken you out of the world to be mine. So remember what I taught you, that a servant isn’t superior to his master. And since they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. And if they obey my teachings, they will also obey yours.  They will treat you this way because you are mine, and they don’t know the One who sent me. John 15:18-21 (TPT)

Jesus says we will be treated this way (hated) because we belong to him.  Also, they don’t know the One who sent me.

GET THIS!  There are souls out there that do not know the Heavenly Father.  They need Jesus.  Jesus is the only way to the Father.  There is no other way.

ALL LIVES MATTER!  We need to stop singling out just a few.  Jesus was concerned for all lives.

With Jesus, our lives can be transformed into his likeness.  He can change us.  He can show us how to love.

There is a hurting world out there.  Drowning. Because. We. Spend. Our Time. Arguing. Hating. Trying. To Prove. We. Are. Right.

Jesus gently reminds you.  Remember.  Who I am.  Remember who you are.  Remember who the Father is.

Remind Me Who I AM
