What are you willing to do in order to allow Jehovah to change your heart? Are you indeed a ready vessel of his?
No matter how many times I read and I ponder the words of Psalm 139:23-24, I must be ready to hear God speak to me. Because, if I am a willing vessel, then I am ready to be transformed by him.
Search me, O God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
God speaks to us. In many ways. Many believers do not hear him because they are not ready vessels. Every day, we arise and we will make choices.
What will your choice be for today?
Do you stand ready to be changed? To be transformed?
For me. For me, it has become a daily choice. To arise and then ask my Heavenly Father, “Search me Father. Test me. Am I resisting in anyway? Am I on the wrong path? I want to be more like you, Poppa.”
A ready vessel has a sincere heart. A ready vessel is willing to admit when she is wrong. A ready vessel wants to be obedient. A ready vessel is ready to hear the voice of God. And then answer with “Yes, here I am.”
As you walk into “Holy Week” – are you willing to speak these words out to your Heavenly Father? Are you willing to change? Are you willing to hear his voice?
My song. A beautiful one. Reasons why. 10,000 reasons why. Let the words soak in and bless you so that you can bless the Heavenly Father.
