This is what I woke-up saying this morning – “Ranting and Raving.”
This has happened on and off for over 20-years – waking up and speaking out loud a few words – and I always know that it is the Lord speaking to me. This one is a little different from the norm.
As I ponder these words, this morning, I have to first look at myself and see how it applies to me.
So what is ranting and raving?
BASICALLY: Talk loudly and vehemently, especially in anger
Do you find yourself ranting and raving at times?
It is easy to get pulled in to it everyday on social media! I believe the Lord is tired of it and especially with His children ranting and raving!
It never fails, there is a post out there in the waves of communication, and people start with the words – ranting and raving. Saying ridiculous things! If you start scrolling, you might find yourself caught up in those waves.
I’m thinking another good term is “Spouting at the mouth!”
We need to be careful with what we allow into our time space. If not, we will be weary by the end of the day with nothing but negative thoughts overpowering our lives.
My Scripture this morning from my daily walk #100DaystoBrave goes well with this post:
IF you want to grow in wisdom, spend time with the wise. Walk with the wicked and you’ll eventually become just like them. – Proverbs 13:20 (TPT)
Words matter. And because words matter, we need to be more careful about the ones we choose to speak. We can’t reel them back in once we toss the rod. So be careful – little eyes what you see – be careful little ears what you hear – be careful little mouths what you say – for there are many who are listening along with the Heavenly Father.
Watch out today for those waves of communication and make sure it is worthy to jump in and put in your two-cents worth.
My Song: I pray that these words bless your soul today. Make it a day that you stop and think before releasing your words out into the atmosphere. Focus in on the Words of God.
REMEMBER, God’s Words bring life
