Worrier

Two weeks ago, I wrote an article on “Two Words.”

Today, I share the second word with you:

Worrier

In a state of worry

A warrior is one who confronts and overcomes life’s challenges.

A worrier is one who carries fear and anxiety.

As mentioned in my post (July 13, 2018): only two letters change.  Can you see the letters?

Part One: Two Words

Two letters change everything.

Warriors stand between what they hold dear and what is threatening to them.  Worriers fall apart and allow the enemy to come and defeat them.

This could be a gradual change or it could happen in a split second.

Joshua 1:9 is a Scripture that I love and repeat many times through out a day.  God has encouraged me to be strong and courageous.  He reminds us to not be afraid.  And He gentle says throughout Scriptures – “He is with you – wherever you go.”

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9

My word of challenge this year, 2018, has been BRAVE.  I have learned that brave choices always have ripple effects.  Just like sudden fear can also have ripple effects.  In our world today, we see the rippling effects of what fear does to man.  Fear can be defeated – defeated when we trust in God’s Word.

What will you be today?  A warrior or a worrier?

Squirrel Praise
Trust in Him

My Song:  I have been listening to this song.  A lot.  God has told me to be strong and courageous and to trust in Him.  Fear is a Liar.  It destroys me and everyone around me.  I have the whole album of Zach Williams and I am in love with the words.  These songs have power and encouragement.

Fear is a Liar
