But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart. – Psalm 56:3 (TPT)
Any ordinary day can suddenly turn into a day of terror – a day of fear. Everyone experiences that fear.
The enemy knows which button to push – which cord to pull in order to turn our hearts into a frenzy.
Suddenly the “Fear Cord” attached to our hearts is yanked – we don’t know what is happening. The adrenaline starts flowing and our hearts start pounding – racing – shaking. We try to stop and get control. What just happened? – what do we do? If we are not careful, the enemy will start reeling us in by that fear cord and then fear takes over – we become like puppets and lose control of our hearts and our minds.
In those moments – we must stop – and remember words that God has spoken to us before. We fall on our knees and cry out, “Lord, I place these fears before you. I cannot walk this path alone. Help me to Trust You with all my heart.
Give Him your fears today. Trust in Him with all your heart. When you do, the enemy will flee.
My Song: Yes, I have played this one before. But the words never grow old! They are fresh everyday. Believe it. Fear is a liar.
