I love unfolding the Word of God and finding treasures each day.  If we seek Him, He will faithfully share His treasures with us.

Weekly Bible Treasures

Below are just a few Bible Treasures that I found this week that I used on my blog.

1. IF you are without sin, then go ahead and throw the first stone.
2. Blessed is the one who puts their trust in God.
3. IF we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
4. Perfect love expels all fear.
5. Those who love God must also love their Christian brothers and sisters.
6. My soul says, “The Lord is my portion.  Therefore, I will put my hope in Him.
7. We must walk in love and in truth.  It must be balanced.

Let’s take a look at these treasures.  What do you see that God may be speaking out to you?

For me, I see the word “sin” several times.  In our world today, what is happening?  Is there chaos and conflict happening around you?  Are we striving to walk in love and truth today?  If not, what must we do?

God has given us simple, basic steps to follow that shows us how to live. How to love.

First of all, if you are without sin, then jump on the “bandwagon” and start throwing your stones.  But to even think about throwing a stone at another is sin.  Wanting to hurt another person is wrong.  The men who came to accuse this woman walked away.  Walked away for they had much sin in their own lives.  Could that be what Jesus was writing in the sand?

Love and truth were two more words seen several times throughout the week.  They go together.  One can’t be without the other.  There were people who were going around saying they loved God and yet, stepping into darkness and talking trash about another brother or sister in Christ.  We can’t do that!  God says we must also love our Christian brothers and sisters.

Oh Father God, forgive us when we slip back into the flesh and speak poorly about one another.  Father, Your Word is very clear about walking in love and in truth.  O Father, may we remember that You are our portion and that is reason enough for us to put our hope in You.  And fear, may we walk away from fear – for fear does not come from you.  It is the work of the enemy of our souls.  Let us look to Your Perfect Love and Truth and strive to live like Jesus more each day.  I love you, Lord.  I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

Today, I leave with you a song – a song of love – a song to remind you to give all your life to Him.  I pray that the words bless you as much as they have blessed me this morning.  When I shared this song two years ago, over 29 million had viewed it.  Today, it is close to 70 million.  All I can is say, “Wow!”
