Double Blessings

Today, I pray that you will be doubled blessed by the Lord – the giver of all spiritual gifts!

This morning as I woke up, these words came to my mind, “Give us clean hands and give us pure hearts.”  My first reaction?  I think that is a song!  Then, I remembered that it is a Scripture that I have passed by many times in the Treasure Rooms of God.

 

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it!

As I prepared to unfold God’s Word, I googled those words and found the words that I was looking for – Psalm 24.  O be blessed this morning!

These Words fell fresh on me this morning.  These Words came from the Lord today for our ears to hear.  I pray that you will heed His Words this day:

Psalm 24:1-10 – The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.  He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior.  Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.  Selah

Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory?  The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.  Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.  Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty — he is the King of glory. (NIV)

Come, sit with me today in His Treasure Room – for He willingly sits with us to share His Treasures.  Unfold His Word and receive His Truth:

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it! God controls everything!  He is my Heavenly Father!

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?  Who may stand in his holy place?  

• Those who have clean hands and a pure heart.
• Those who do not lift up their souls to another
• or deceive others with lies.

Now for a double blessing!  It was a few years ago today, that I woke up saying those same words.  I shared them on Facebook that day – October 26, 2013.  I only wrote the lyrics to that song – but today I share a beautiful song about these precious words of the Lord:

Give Us Clean Hands

God has been speaking to His Children.  He seeks for us to clean up our messes and show the world that He is in control of everything!  Everything!

Yes today, lift up your heads and give glory and honor to your King today!  Who is this King of glory?  He is the Lord strong and mighty – the Lord mighty in battle.

 

Heavenly Father, thank you!  Praise You!  There is no other Father that compares to You!  May I lift up my head today and honor the King of glory.  The Lord Almighty!  Father, may my heart be pure and may my hands be clean from worldly ways – as I walk today may the Presence of God be felt by others.  May others join me in honoring the King of glory.  I love you, Lord.  I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

THE LORD ALWAYS GIVES US A TRAIL TO DISCOVER WHAT HE IS TEACHING US.  As mentioned before, the words written above, came from words that I wrote two years ago – in 2016 — now it is 2018.  God started that trail in my heart 5 years ago.  Oh the blessings that we can receive if we open up our hearts to him.
