One Door – One Way

John 14:6:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Seekers.  Dreamers. Immigrants.

It doesn’t matter who we are, there is still only one way – one door to come through to the Father.

Somewhere along the way, we have lost our way.

In social media, many have decided it is a good place to express their own ways – their own thoughts – their own doors.

Jesus has set an example to show us that there is only one door – one way.

It is not up to us to decide how many ways can be introduced as the right way.

Seekers.  Dreamers.  Immigrants.

In our society today, those who choose the wrong doors to enter – are given carte blanche to enter into our country any way that they want to.

In our leadership, the people’s hearts are ignored.  Many of our leaders have forgotten that they are here to serve our Country – our people – our needs.  We need to be a healthy nation. That means we can’t make up our own rules as we go.  That means as leaders, it is not about you – but it is about standing in integrity.

In our churches, we have those who have forgotten the way – they no longer hear the words of the Father.  Many have made up their own rules – their own ways – their own doors.

This does not teach our children the difference between right and wrong.

What is does teach them is that throwing tantrums will get you what you want.

What have you hungered after?  Have you forgotten the way?  We cannot take matters into our own hands and do what we want to do.  We must always be willing to lead others to the Father through the only door that they can come through.

2019 is a good year to seek forgiveness for our foolish ways.  We have been ensnared in the traps of the enemy and there is only one way out.  We have filled our hearts with hatred and we think that we have the right to do so.

Did you know that suicide is now the number one killer of our society?

I leave it at this.  These are thoughts to consider – have we forgotten?

The Father’s Heart
