At times, I awake, and I feel anticipation – just slightly.  It is as though I am waiting for something, but I don’t know what it is.

Why do we stay in a cage when the door is actually opened and we could freely fly away?  We could soar with the eagles.

I have been challenged to “Love Big” this month.

I was reminded today of the great promise from Isaiah 61 as I walk through this prophetic book.

In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus was reading from the scrolls of Isaiah about himself – about his promise:

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.”
(NLT)

Did you know that if you are a child of God that you have been empowered by the Holy Spirit too?

IF you have been set free, are you sharing with others the good news?

• Bring Good News to the poor
• Proclaim that captives will be released
• Blind will see
• Oppressed will be set free
• Restoration is upon us

Jesus fulfilled those words that he read from Isaiah that day.

Fly freely!  Soar with the Eagles! Jesus left us here to share the news of Jubilee – of Restoration back to the Father.
