Did you know that there are nine songs in the book of Isaiah?
Today, I came across number three – found in Isaiah 12. It is the Song of Praise for the Redeemed!
Verse two leaped up and danced for me this morning:
Behold – God is my salvation! I am confident, unafraid, and I will trust in you. Yes! The Lord Yah is my might and my melody; he has become my salvation! (TPT) Isaiah 12:2
The Hebrew word for “salvation” is yeshuw’ah and is found in Isaiah twenty-eight times. It made me think of the Hebrew name of Jesus: Yeshua.
Can you see the similarity in the words?
There is such joy in knowing the God of Salvation.
I wrote an article about two years ago about knowing him. Did you realize to know Jesus is to know the God of Salvation?
Do not let another day go by without truly seeking to know him. You will never regret making that choice.
My Song: IF you have never heard this song, you will be blessed today beyond measure. Dr. S. M. Lockridge years ago, described who his King was in a sermon that has forever touched my heart. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Lockridge knew Jesus! Yes! Yeshua!
Do You Know Him – That’s My King!
To know Jesus is to know the God of Salvation. Rejoice today in the fact that you know Him. And if you don’t truly know Him – start seeking Him this day – it will be a day that you never regret for an eternity!
Thank you so much. Listening to the video was so needed. How great our King is! What a sermon!
