Unfolding God’s Word – Day 20

Guardian Angels

Yes! We do have guardian angels who will protect us. Have you made the LORD your refuge, your shelter? If so, no evil will conquer you.

But you must stay within the boundaries of that protection. He will keep you safe.

Do you know Him? Do you trust in Him?

No matter the situation, He is there in the midst of the chaos and conflict. Hang on tight!

Psalm 91:9-16
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.
They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”

Do you know Him?

Heavenly Father, To know you is to love you. To know your greatness and your power. To trust you is to know you, completely. Father, we live in trying times and the days seem to be getting more difficult, and yet when I trust in your name, I know that I am protected. I know that you are with me in the middle of this chaos. Help us to find peace within that safe refuge with you today. I love you, Lord. I ask this in Christ Jesus’ name, amen.

IF you have never heard Dr. S.M. Lockridge’s definition of who Jesus is, then you will want to take time today to hear these powerful words! You will know about Him and will feel empowered by these words to trust in Him.
