Please Don’t Tell

Those are the words that I spoke early this morning rising up from sleep at 4:15 A.M. this morning.

It is not unusually for me to do that. It has happened many times through out my life. It always has meaning and purpose. It is God speaking to me during my dreams and visions of the night.

Since I am familiar with this type of waking up in the night hours, I knew right away the meaning of these words.

Standing in the Gap

First one must be familiar with the Biblical Night Watchman Hours. The hours from 3-6 A.M. in the morning, is a time that God wakes you up to pray for people who have been crying out for help in the 12-3 A.M. hours. So when I awake speaking out words, like these, it has purpose.

There is no doubt in my mind that these words, “Please don’t tell,” were spoking by someone who was fearful. I truly believe it has to do with the corruption in our voting system that has been exposed. We don’t know the depth of that corruption, but it is real and it needs to be exposed.

Someone was talking with a dear spouse or friend who has something to share regarding this corruption. This person is fearful of what may happen if their loved one steps up to expose the crime that has taken place. And they are asking them to please don’t tell. Don’t put yourself in danger.

If you think I am crazy, you will not be the first person to think so. But I have history with the Lord; a deep walk with Him over the years and I know how He speaks to me.

That said, I wonder how many others are out there crying out in the middle of the night for help? Who can I trust? Who can I tell? All I can tell you is that the Lord reveals those cries to Him to others to stand in the gap for you. Those who are willing to speak with the Father about your needs. It’s how God operates.

There are many scriptures in God’s word about “fear.” He reminds us to not fear man. Do not allow the enemy to come into your mind – your home – your city and tell you to fear.

2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (NLT)

Be Brave.

Be Bold.

Be Kind.

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful that you have chosen me to stand in the gap for those who cry out in the middle of the night with fear consuming them. I pray for the one that cried out in the middle of night, “Please don’t tell!” Father, let them know that others have heard that cry out and that they are willing to stand with them in their hour of need. Father, I pray for this corruption in our land that would attack the freedoms of the American people. I pray that you continue to expose this evil, in the name of Christ Jesus. May the Light back off this darkness that has come to consume us. Let us stand boldly in Your Name against this darkness. I ask this in Christ Jesus’ name, amen.
