Divine Encourager

Encourage one another.  Hold on.  Build one another up.

There is purpose in encouragement.  And we can encourage one another.

BUT there is nothing that can compare to the Divine Encourager.  He comes from the very presence of the Heavenly Father.  He lives inside of each believer.  And he comes upon each believer.

Never Let Go of Him in the Storms

Sitting in the hospital waiting room yesterday, I felt that presence.  It was comforting.  It was encouraging.  So many prayers going up for my grandson, Pat.  And daily numbers are added to those who are praying for him and my family.

I look at my son and daughter-in-law and I see the hope that surrounds them.  Hardly comprehending that there are so many who are joining them at the Throne Room of Heaven asking for the complete healing of Pat.

Today, we look at the last two verses of John 15 – such power in the Word:

And I will send you the Divine Encourager from the very presence of my Father. He will come to you, the Spirit of Truth, emanating from the Father, and he will speak to you about me. And you will tell everyone the truth about me, for you have walked with me from the start.” John 15:26-27  (TPT)

I look at the  “And” today in these verses:

  • And I will send you the Divine Encourager
  • And you will tell everyone the truth about me

Part of my ministry, is to encourage others that God’s Holy Spirit lives within them – every believer in Jesus Christ.  He speaks to me.  He teaches me.  He comforts me. The presence is real and once you have truly experiences that presence – you will desire more and more of him.

The enemy doesn’t want us to believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  He wants to discourage.  He wants to destroy.  He wants to kill.

And there is our Heavenly Father.  He is the real thing.  And the enemy will try to counterfeit everything that the Father does.  Don’t get caught up in the trap of the enemy.  Believe.  Believe in the One that the Heavenly Father sent to you.

For extra thought today, look back at John 14:16-17 and read Acts 2.  These things were meant for us too.  Don’t let anyone discourage you in these truths.  Believe.  Hold on.  Never give up.

No matter what storm you are walking through today, never let go of the Heavenly Father.  He is real.  He is there.  The song I share today, is another one that I have listened to in the midst of dark days for me.  I encourage you today, “Never let go!”

Never Let Go
