I love how God speaks to me. I love how he gives me manna throughout the day.
In order to hear from God, I must willingly be waiting for it – anticipating it – desiring it.
I have a new rubber stamp with the word “IF” written upon it. It is a word that I use to prepare myself to write – to write words of wisdom from the Lord.
I took it out this morning, and stamped it in my journal book – AND THEN I asked the Lord a question, “What ‘IF’ am I facing today?”

On Sundays, I usually open up a devotional book, My Utmost For His Highest. It is written by Oswald Chambers.
So I opened up to today, March 11th and these were the words that popped out:
Obedience To The Heavenly Vision
And the first word in this daily devotion was “IF!”
I just love how God speaks to me!
“IF we lose “the heavenly vision” God has given us, we alone are responsible – not God. We lose the vision because of our own lack of spiritual growth. IF we do not apply our beliefs about God to the issues of everyday life, the vision God has given us will never be fulfilled.” Oswald Chambers
Acts 26:19 – So you see, King Agrippa, I have not been disobedient to what was revealed to me from heaven. (NLT)
This was Paul speaking here to King Agrippa. Telling King Agrippa about how Jesus appeared to him.
Do you know what your heavenly vision is? Have you willingly waited upon the Lord and followed along the path that he has put before you?
Many times we move before God moves. And when we do this, we lose sight of the heavenly vision. But we need to stay anchored to that vision and not move out on our own.
My song for today is another of my favorites. When it first came out, I sang it for weeks, playing it over and over – imagining what heaven will be like. All I can say, is when I get there, it will be much more than anything that I could ever imagine.
Rejoice! Rejoice in the Lord! Rejoice that you know him! For heaven will be more than we could ever imagine!
Then to add icing to the cake, after my mom passed recently and we were cleaning out boxes of treasures from mom and dad – I found on the shelf one of my favorite devotional books that belonged to my dad – it had been engraved with his name on it.
The devotional book? A beautiful leather copy of My Utmost For His Highest!

God is good. All the time. God is good!
