Let’s. Not. Pretend.
That is the thought that came to my mind this morning as I was reading all the comments out on social media in regards to immigration.
I am seeing people quoting the Bible – not for honoring God, but to cause more conflict. More chaos.
Emotions are flying around like a swarm of bees! We cannot make good decisions with our emotions.
Children matter. They have mattered for a long time. And yet, I have not seen our leaders make wise decisions in the concerns of these little ones either.
Let’s Not Pretend.
Let’s come together and seek to make wise decisions.
Just sitting in my quiet time alone with the Lord, I have come up with several reasonable ideas to start breaking through the great big poopy mess that has been made in our Country – our communities – our homes.
When a baby poops in his pants someone cleans up the mess. Hopefully!
When a group of people make a big poopy mess in our Country in the decision making – someone must clean up the mess. Hopefully!
Let’s stop fighting! And whining! And blaming! And hating! And more than anything, Let’s stop pretending!
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16
