It was a night of suddenlies. A night of peace – joy – hope found – a glorious night! Yes! A glorious night indeed.
THEN all at once, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven. And they all praised God, singing:

“GLORY to God in the highest realms of heaven! For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.” (Luke 2:13-14 TPT)
I love the Christmas story. Each year as I read from God’s Word, I am touched in so many different ways by the words about my Savior!
So many times I have thought about those shepherds out in the field doing their thing – and out of nowhere, the Armies of God appeared in the sky with glorious light – with glorious news – filled with praise – a glorious song of praise!
I often wonder, if somewhere in homes across the sea, if there is a generation of believers who were related to one of those shepherds! Sitting down for a Christmas meal together and reminiscing about a great grandfather who was there on that glorious night. I pray that the lineage didn’t lose the story along the way.
I love Christmas Eve! It is always filled with hope – with glorious thoughts of a night so long ago, that a Savior was borne.
I know for many this year, it will be a difficult year. Maybe you have experienced loss in some way and its hard to focus upon that glorious night. I pray that the Savior of World comes to wrap his loving arms about you and fills you with his love. He can do that! I know – for I have experienced it throughout my life time.
I leave a song for you. I pray that it surrounds you with the love of Jesus. And just know, that a grandma somewhere in the world is praying for you.
There will be a beautiful moon out tonight. I pray that you will be able to see it. I pray that you will sense God’s Presence.
