Spring is just around the corner. Many of us are waiting with hope for the warmth of the land to appear – to see life taking place around us.
Planting season is upon us – just around that corner of cold.
When you see a seed, can you see all of its attributes that it will bring forth?
You can have a bag of seed, but until you plant those seeds into the ground – that bag will remain nothing more. Just a bag of seeds.
But when we put our trust into the Living God, then all things become possible. Life takes place – all because one seed was planted and died to self.
“Let me make this clear: a single grain of wheat will never be more than a single grain of wheat unless it drops into the ground and dies. Because then it sprouts and produces a great harvest of wheat – all because one grain died.” John 12:24 TPT
Those words were spoken by Jesus. Preparing the hearts of those who loved him to begin to understand what his journey up ahead would look like. Yes, Jesus came to die for you and me. And look at the great harvest that was and still is being produced.
There are seeds within each one of us – the children of God – that are waiting to be planted. Fear and anxiety keeps us from watering them and waiting to see what comes forth in us. Within a culture of honor, each one of us has something to produce for the benefit of others. We must encourage one another – love one another – believe in one another for the seeds of hope – of promises that were planted in each one of us. Let us all be a part of that culture so that we can reap a great harvest in the future.
Believe. Believe in the young seeds within.
My Song: Everyone has a seed to sow. Each one of us is unique. Different gifts. Different roads. Live in the culture of honor and watch a great harvest of love burst forth.
