Unfolding God’s Word – Day Six

This morning as I awoke, the atmosphere felt different. There did not seem to be as much chaos surrounding me. That feeling, “what deceit awaits the people today?”

Looking at some of the media sources, it amazed me this morning how many lies are twisted into the minds of those who desire chaos and corruption to surround the citizens of America. But it seems I have rounded the bend on this trash; I think over the weekend people have really seen the hearts of those who hate so much in our land. It is a sickness that has spread like a cancer.

I wonder if others awoke this morning with a different feeling surrounding them – a releasing from the cesspool?

Then I read my Scriptures from Psalm 87 and saw that release in the words written in this Psalm: (This time with the Lord was spent on Monday the 5th but will be posted on the 6th)

Psalm 87:

On the holy mountain stands the city founded by the Lord.
He loves the city of Jerusalem more than any other city in Israel.
O city of God, what glorious things are said of you!
I will count Egypt and Babylon among those who know me—
also Philistia and Tyre, and even distant Ethiopia.
They have all become citizens of Jerusalem!
Regarding Jerusalem it will be said, “Everyone enjoys the rights of citizenship there.”
And the Most High will personally bless this city.
When the Lord registers the nations, he will say, “They have all become citizens of Jerusalem.”
The people will play flutes and sing, “The source of my life springs from Jerusalem!” (NLT)

Two mounts: Zion and Jerusalem – They are the foundation of the Sanctuary – The City of God

The Holy One spoke of this city and blessed it.

My main thought today is focused upon verse 7: “The people will play flutes and sing, “The source of my life springs from Jerusalem!”

It is a time of celebration. Singing and dancing. Joy filling the atmosphere.

Today, I am reminded of places in America right now who are trying to silence the singers and dancers. Forbidding the worship of God. Only the enemy of God would desire for the joy of the people to be removed. Locked up and told to stay put.

It is important right now, to not forget where our joy comes from. It is important to remember that our hearts are the wellspring of life. Think about this today; it might be a good day for, “Not today, Satan!”

Two verses are shared below that are some of my “go to” verses for life. I share them with you today:

Proverb 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” (NIV)

John 4:13-14: “Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (NIV) ***This is the story about the Samaritan Woman

Heavenly Father, What a great reminder today that you are the wellspring of life. My joy is found in you everyday – every moment. The enemy has always wanted to rob us of our joy – of our foundation – he desires to even kill us! Help us to arise each morning with the thought that our hearts are the very wellspring of our lives. Help us to not fear man and their controlling nature; but willingly stand and remind each others of what we have in you. I love you, Lord. I ask this in Christ Jesus’ name, Amen.
