Unfolding God’s Word – Day 23

My God Reigns!

The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. God’s Promises are eternal. No matter how the waves pound and crash over us, it will never change the Promises and the Love of God.

My God Reigns

My God Reigns!

Psalm 93
The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty.
Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.
The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Your throne, O Lord, has stood from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past.
The floods have risen up, O Lord. The floods have roared like thunder;
the floods have lifted their pounding waves. But mightier than the violent raging of the seas,
mightier than the breakers on the shore—the Lord above is mightier than these!
Your royal laws cannot be changed. Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever. (NLT)

It doesn’t matter what evil comes at us; it will never change the promises of God; and it will never change the Love of the Father for His children.

My life verse – my life chapter is found in the Book of Romans – Chapter Eight. This chapter has been my life preserver over the years caught up in Legalism. Years battling whether I was saved or not – years of repenting and crying out to the Lord for mercy upon my soul. Then one day, I discovered the “words” within this chapter, and then man no longer had control over my soul – but instead I grew to know my Heavenly Father and His love for me. My prayer is that everyone will find that same freedom that I found in Christ.

Now for one of my favorite go-to verses:

Romans 8:35-39:
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for these words of promise and love. To be wrapped in Your loving arms and protected from man and his man-made rules is like pure heaven! Nothing, no nothing, can ever separate me from God’s love. I love you, Lord. I ask this in Christ Jesus’ name, amen.

One of my favorite worship songs – I pray you are blessed today by these words:

  1. Beautiful sermon, picture, words, and song! The love of God and its power to help, heal, and uplift. Thank you for your ministry. You are doing what I had planned, but I got caught up in the likes and comments. I do more fiction and poems and less teaching of His words. I applaud your obedience.
