Proverbs. Wisdom. Knowledge.

This is what is lacking in our world today; especially in America. That is why the book of Proverbs is so important to be read and reviewed on a regular basis. Proverbs is filled with “Little Nuggets,” “Manna” from the LORD.

How far have you wandered away from Him? Are you daily, allowing Him to fill you with His knowledge and wisdom and understanding? IF not, you need to get back on track. IF you have never sought after these nuggets, now would be a good time to start.

Proverbs 1:5-7: “Let the wise listen to these Proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the word of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” (NLT)

Fear is reverence. Respect of the Holy Father. It is the understanding of who the Father is. He is above all else that we come against in our daily walks of life. In order to obtain true knowledge, this is the place that you start.

In realizing that respect, within a honest heart searching for knowledge, you start at the beginning – the Creator. In your willingness to understand, taking time to know the Creator will give you a desire to engage in wisdom and in knowledge. Why? Because “Fools” despise these two things: wisdom and knowledge.

Right now in our Great Nation, we have fools running the government. Fools. Those who reject wisdom and knowledge and go their own way – not even doing the job that they were elected to do. Our Nation must return to God and must return to God’s wisdom and knowledge. Without this step, we will continue to head south – further into the pit of wickedness and hatred.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this “little nugget” this morning. Without this wisdom, this knowledge, we can never move away from foolish ways in our lives and in those we have allowed to lead our country. We have taken your Word, your Ways and made a mockery of who you really are. Father, forgive us of our foolishness. May we seek to return and remember what true wisdom and true knowledge is and where it comes from. Help us to seek the Creator and then ask for a desire to be placed within us to honor and respect you. Thank you for your faithfulness. I love you, Lord. I ask this in Christ Jesus name, amen.
